To help editors organize photos for the yearbook, they will set up School Photo Folders for different activities at the school. You may be contacted by an editor requesting photos for various activities. Your photos could potentially be used in the yearbook. Emailing photos directly into School Photo Folders is an easy way for editors to get your photos. Here's how it works:
1. An editor will provide a link to parents. The link will be the email address for a specific School Photo Folder and will look something like this.
notification.photos.xxxxxxxxx@treeringphotos.com
2. When you click on the link, your email will open to create a new message. (Make sure this is the email account you use for Treering.) The linked email address will show as the recipient of the email. Do not add any additional email addresses to the TO/CC line or the images will not be processed. You do not need to enter anything in the subject line or in the body of the email.
3. The photos must be attached or added to the body of the email. Links to photos will not work. Email providers may not allow more than 25 MB of images to be sent at one time. Check out this article to see what Google does if you try to send too many images:

Important! The photos must be sent using your Treering account email. This is the email that you use to log into Treering. If you do not use the correct email, the photos will not be added to the photo folder and you will receive an email error message:
3. After you send the email with your photos you will receive an automated email notification showing the status of the photos. You will see if the photo upload to the School Photo Folder was a success or if it failed.
